A Blessing for the New Baby and the Family Welcoming New Life
Whether you’re a first time parent or welcoming your tenth baby, every child is unique and sacred. A Baby Blessing will initiate this new soul into the fabric of the family unit
When we welcome a new baby into the family, we are also inviting the seeds of potential that lay in the soul of this new life to blossom within the soil of the family unit. Honoring and praying over this young one, offering an intention for his or her life, will help parents raise the child in alignment with God’s plan and purpose.
We will help you integrate this new being into your family system. We will offer support for the family in welcoming the child. And together you will embrace the new identity of your family as transformed and stronger because of the energy this new soul brings into your life and now the world.
The ceremony will typically follow the same basic structure:
- Welcome and initiation prayer
- Set an intention for the ceremony
- Ground and enter sacred space
- Connect to the Spirit
- Prayers and Blessings
- Ritual elements to help the family integrate the baby into their new family system
- Close
- Snacks and Socialize
